Living in the beautiful Berkshires of Massachusetts gives me lots of inspiration as an artist and handbag designer. I love to get up early in the morning when the house is quiet, meditate a bit, and then pick up something from my overstuffed studio shelves that speaks to me and begin to create. Most of my materials are remnants from local upholsterers and designers. I search for unique findings and materials when I travel. Most recently I found amazing rugs and jeweled closures from Israel which I can’t wait to work into my latest collection. The rest of my day is spent as a pastor and counselor serving two small rural churches.
